it's the great democratic process...the people, no matter how coralled they happen to be, have spoken.
We get the government we deserve. That was true when the Republicans were in charge and spending money like it grows on trees, and it's true now that the Democrats are in, too.
Interesting that the Democrats are saying they are going to have no earmarks in the budget this time around. I will be extremely impressed if they pull that off.
